Joshua became part of the SRJC Sports Medicine family in Fall 2015. He is a Santa Rosa native and former student-athlete at Montgomery High School. He earned his A.A. degree from SRJC in Kinesiology: Athletic Training Preparation, while being an athletic training student from 2010-2013. Joshua went on to transfer and receive his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Sacramento State where he worked with Football, Women’s gymnastics, Men’s and Women’s soccer, Men’s and Women’s Cross country, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Women’s softball. Joshua completed his Master's degree in Health Science: Rehabilitative Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in September 2017. Joshua has served as a preceptor for the University of Idaho's MSAT Program, and enjoys teaching others about the Athletic Training and Sports Medicine world. When not working Joshua enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Lizette, his dog Leo, family, being outdoors, and eating at Phnom Penh in Alameda (best. food. ever). Joshua is thrilled to be part of the SRJC Sports Medicine family where he plans to stay until they tell him to leave.
